Our Payment Options

Below, you will details of the payment methods with which you can pay for your orders.

All payments made using an American Express, VISA or Mastercard debit or credit card are processed by our payment partner Lloyds Banking Group using a 256Bit secure server. None of your card details are stored on our website at all, so you can shop confident in the knowledge that your details are perfectly safe.

We are also able to accept payments using a PayPal account. PayPal is an extremely convenient and highly secure payment system. We can accept all of PayPal's payment offerings including Pay-in-3, where you can split your payment into 3 monthly 0% interest free payments or PayPal credit which works like a virtual credit card and offers 0% interest free payments for the first 4 months on purchases over £99.00.

What if my payment is not accepted?

Your payment may not be accepted if the credit or debit card you are attempting to use to make the payment is not registered to the same address as you have used for the payment address during the checkout process this is due to the PSD2 Strong Customer Authorisation legislation that became law in 2022. This is a measure that has be taken to protect both our customers and ourselves from fraud.

If you are sure that the card is registered to the same address as you entered during the checkout process, please ensure that you have entered the correct security code (CVV) and expiry date. For VISA and Mastercard credit or debit cards a 3 digit code is located next to or as part of the signature strip on the back of the card. If you are using an American Express Credit Card then your CVV will be a four digit number on the FRONT of your card.

Part of the new PSD2 Strong Customer Authorisation legislation, means your card provider or PayPal may ask you to prove who you are using some form of 2-Factor Authorisation. This may be in the form of entering an OTP (One Time Passcode) sent via a Text message or email for you to enter if challenged on our payment gateway, or alternatively, you may be asked to verify who you are using a mobile phone Banking, Credit Card or PayPal App.

If you do not complete the information correctly or fail to enter the 2-Factor Authentication when requested, it can result in the payment not being authorised.

If none of these suggestions appear to have worked, your bank, credit card or PayPal may have declined your payment for some other reason. Please contact them directly as we do not have any information as to why payments have been declined.

How long will it take to receive a refund for returned items or orders?

We always try to process refunds as quickly as we possibly can, as we don't want our customers to be "out of pocket" for any longer than they have to be. Typically, we will issue a refund within 1-2 working days following receiving your return from you, but unfortunately due to the UK banking system, this does not mean that the refund will appear back in your account as soon as we have issued it. As we do not store any of your payment details, we are only able to apply refunds using the method you originally paid for your order with as the refund is linked to the original transaction.

The table below provides typical guidelines as to how long it will take from the day you send your return back before the refund appears back in your bank, credit card or PayPal account. It is worth pointing out that weekends and bank holidays can effect these time-scales too, which is why we refer to the number of working days rather than just days.

I can’t see my refund in my bank account yet?

Please allow the timescales set out above to receive your refund. We will send an email to the email address from which you ordered, confirming that we have issued a refund. If you don't appear to have received this email, please check in your JUNK or SPAM folder on your email app, as the email may have inadvertently been treated as junk mail by the email app. If you don't have appeared to have received a refund even though we emailed you to say that we had issued it, after the time periods above, please contact us and we will investigate the issue for you.
